Wildman Adventure Resort
May to August 2024 | Head Videographer & Editor
Wildman is an outdoor adventure company offering a variety of tours including rafting, zip-lining, rock climbing, and paintball. During the 2024 summer season, I relocated to Wisconsin to do videography and adventure guiding. As the videographer, I not only filmed and edited videos but collaborated closely with the General Manager to refine Wildman’s marketing strategy, shifting the tone to better resonate with families and casual outdoor enthusiasts.
Note: I did not have input on the current video thumbnails. I made alternative versions that are better designed and am awaiting for the General Manager to implement.
This is Wildman
This is the first of four scheduled videos I filmed and edited for WILDMAN.
This video captures the full scope of the WILDMAN experience, showcasing all of their activities—including rafting, zip-lining, rock climbing, and paintball—through a dynamic mix of static, aerial, and POV shots. Collaborating with the General Manager, I helped shift the visual tone away from the rough, high-adrenaline style of past content toward something more wholesome and inclusive. The goal was to create a piece that felt approachable and inviting, showing that WILDMAN isn’t just for hardcore adventurers—it’s for individuals and families of all skill levels.
This is Menominee Rafting
This is the second video I filmed and edited for WILDMAN, focusing specifically on their flagship whitewater rafting tour. Unlike the first video, which highlighted the full range of activities, this piece zooms in on a single experience to give viewers a deeper sense of what to expect on the river. Staying aligned with the new, more approachable style, I carefully selected music, visuals, and color grading that emphasized fun and excitement over pure logistics—aiming to make the experience feel accessible, enjoyable, and inviting for a broader audience.
This is Menominee Outpost
The 2024 season came with its own set of challenges, including internal management issues and a noticeable drop in reservations. As a result, I wasn’t able to join as many trips as originally planned, which limited the amount of footage I could capture. While the initial goal was to create a short video for each individual activity, I proposed an alternative: two compilation videos, each highlighting one of WILDMAN’s distinct outposts, capturing their unique atmospheres and offerings. Although all footage was filmed during the summer season, the final edits were completed remotely nearly a year later from my home base in New Jersey.
